- Nathan Barbera was born to longtime Plano residents, Mike and Pam
Barbera in 1971. He is a lifelong resident of Plano. Nathan attended P.I.S.D.
schools from Kindergarten through Senior High School. He graduated from
Plano Senior High School in 1990. Nathan received a Bachelor of Public
Administration from the University of Mississippi in 1994. He then continued
his education and received his law degree from St. Mary's University School
of Law in 1998.
Shortly after law school, Nathan married his wife, Alisha, and soon
thereafter they purchased their first home in Plano so that their desire
to have children educated in the P.I.S.D. could come true. Nathan and
Alisha recently were blessed with the birth of their son, Palmer, and
look forward to his days ahead as a student in the P.I.S.D.
Nathan believes that the P.I.S.D. is one of the premier school districts
in the state and wants to serve as a P.I.S.D. Trustee to help the
district achieve new levels of academic excellence.-
